Police arrests Bahraini activists before Queen

Police in UK has arrested a Bahraini activist who was moving Bahraini flag in protest to King Hamad.
Ahmed al-Wedai was moving Bahraini flag when King Hamad was accompanied by the Queen Elizabeth during an equestrian competition where Hamad’s son Naser bin Hamad was participating. The Bahraini activist chanted the people’s slogan, ‘Down with Hamad regime,’ and immediately was arrested by the police.

King Hamad has freely travelled to UK while he has been accused of torturing the revolutionary activists by many human rights organizations. Hamad’s regime has communicated the British government during his recent visit that Bahrain had granted citizenship to 240 British nationals.

British government has supported al-Khalifa regime despite criticism and condemning mounted against Bahrain’s violent crackdown and torture on revolutionary forces.
