Political and Economic Epic leads to Iranian progress

“Political and Economic Epic can in turn leads to progress in these foresaid arenas,” said one of Friday Prayer Leaders in Tehran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

The senior cleric in an exclusive interview with TNA highlighted the importance of naming the new-year as the ‘Year of Political and Economic Epic’ by The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei and said such name is actually indicating the strategic future program which should be followed by officials in this year.

“All the senior officials and managers should lead their programs and activities to this direction,” said the Supreme Leader.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei pointed to the victory of the Islamic revolution of Iran and said such victory was the epic of Iranian nations and its lasting during these 34 years can be considered as another epic for this nation.

The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei also indicated to the upcoming presidential election and said Iranian nation, undoubtedly, with their participation in this presidential election will stun the world.

It is worth to noting that The Leader of the Islamic Ummah and Oppressed People Imam Seyyed Ali Khamenei also called on people to turn out massively in the forthcoming presidential election in June to determine a “good future” for their country.

The Islamic Republic’s eleventh presidential election will be held in June and presidential hopefuls will register from May 7 to May 11.

The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term through a national election. The country’s Guardian Council vets the candidates for qualifications.
