Preparatory Meetings for National Dialogue Sessions Kick off in Syria

Preparatory meetings for the national dialogue sessions started on Monday on the level of provinces in the framework of starting dialogue sessions according to a timetable with a deadline by September 20th.

In Damascus University, a meeting was held to form a preparatory committee which will supervise the national dialogue sessions in the university that start on Sunday and end on September 15th.

Participants discussed the mechanisms through which an invitation will be sent for participation in the dialogue, guaranteeing the participation of the teaching staff, students and employees at the university.

In al-Quneitera city, a preparatory meeting was held to form a preparatory committee.

Participants in the meeting discussed the means of achieving the widest popular participation in dialogue through discussing the needs of the province and the local vision to develop it in all fields.

The national dialogue sessions will focus on three main axes: the political life and political reform, the current socio-economic situation and the local vision and requirements of provinces.
