President Ahmadinejad felicitates Venezuela on National Day

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad felicitated Tuesday his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez on the country’s Independence Day (July 5).
In a message to Chavez, the Iranian President also congratulated the Venezuelan nation and government on the occasion.

Praising Venezuela’s efforts to gain independency from hegemonic powers, President Ahmadinejad said Iranians support all freedom-seeking and independent nations of the world.

Expressing his satisfaction with Tehran-Caracas growing relations, the President wished for prosperity and progress of the people and government of Venezuela.
