President Rouhani: World should make a united front against extremism

World should make a united front against extremism and violence, President Hassan Rouhani said on Sunday.

He made the remarks in a ceremony held to celebrate the national Defense Industry Day.

Iran does not plan to intervene or invade any other country and its military capabilities are at the service of regional peace and stability, President added.

He added that Iranˈs military power is not against its neighbors and Muslim states.

Iran is not seeking an arms race with other powers and in the meantime, it will not take permission from others to promote its deterrence capabilities, Rouhani asserted.
