Sayyed al Houthi: ‘israel’ Aims to Erase Palestinian Issue, Shows No Interest in Peace
The head of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has issued a sharp rebuke of the continuous Israeli aggression towards Palestinians. He asserted that compelling evidence indicates the Tel Aviv regime’s lack of interest in achieving peace, as it appears determined to entirely erase the Palestinian issue.

In a televised address on Thursday evening, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi strongly criticized Israel’s actions concerning the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
According to statements made, it has been alleged that the Zionist regime has not only neglected its commitments but has also engaged in extensive assaults and acts of genocide in the region, reportedly with backing from the United States.
Houthi forces issued a strong condemnation of what they described as blatant Israeli violations of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. In a statement, they expressed their commitment to supporting and aiding the Palestinian people, a stance they say they have upheld since the onset of these reported breaches.
The leader of Ansarullah emphasized that Israel, bolstered by the provocation and unequivocal backing from Washington, blatantly breached the ceasefire agreement and evaded discussions on the subsequent phase of the accord.
He characterized the continuing Israeli actions as “a full-scale and genocidal campaign against the population of Gaza.”
Houthi stated that the Palestinian population experienced a brief period of tranquility following the initial implementation of the agreement. However, this peace was short-lived as the destruction of crucial infrastructure intensified the situation.
The renewal of Israeli offensives has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, underscoring accusations that the regime disregards both international agreements and the rights of nations.
Houthi has also expressed criticism regarding the conditions faced by Palestinian prisoners.
The situation surrounding Palestinian inmates remains a core concern for all Palestinians, with even numerous Israeli settlers recognizing that the administration under Benjamin Netanyahu is indifferent to the plight of Palestinian detainees.
The Gaza ceasefire agreement held potential for the liberation of Israeli captives without resulting in the mass casualties of Palestinians, particularly women and children, or causing extensive devastation across Gaza.
The agreement outlined the anticipated basic and justifiable rights for the Palestinian people, focusing on the exchange of prisoners, halting of hostilities, and addressing the issue of hunger, he stated.
The Houthi group has raised serious concerns regarding the treatment of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention facilities, alleging that they endure significant hardships and suffer greatly. They further highlight that instances of severe torture in these prisons are alarming and cannot be overlooked.
He commented on the Zionist regime’s threats concerning the potential displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.
Should Israel achieve its objective of displacing Palestinians from Gaza, a subsequent phase involving displacement from the West Bank may be imminent. The campaign of displacement in the West Bank is reportedly being carried out in a strategic and systematic fashion.
The leader of Ansarullah referenced the shutdown of UNRWA schools in Jerusalem, highlighting the denial of Palestinians’ educational rights and characterizing it as an antagonistic action.
The United States is demonstrating clear support for the displacement of Palestinian people, as emphasized by Trump this week. Trump announced plans to transform the region into a “Freedom Zone” following the expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza.
The Houthi group denounced the statement as meaningless, questioning the rhetoric on freedom while highlighting the displacement and occupation experienced by the region’s people.
The leader of Ansarullah stated that the U.S. dominance in Gaza amounts to an oppressive and criminal intrusion rather than liberation. He emphasized that this brutal and barbaric action, underscored by American assistance and involvement, must be met with a response.
In response to Israeli military actions in Syria, Houthi representatives have alleged that the Zionist regime is striving to create a “Greater Israel” and extend its regional influence.
He urged Muslims, particularly those of Arab descent, to speak out against the actions and policies of Israel and the United States, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling their duty through collective and grassroots initiatives in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
He underscored the importance of sustained and collaborative international efforts to safeguard the rights of Palestinians.
A collective and resolute voice from nations worldwide is essential to safeguard the rights of Palestinians. It is imperative for the Muslim community to remember that neglecting to support the Palestinian cause could have adverse effects not only on Palestine itself but on Muslims at large.
