Rabid zionist Saudi blogger spit on by Palestinians sings in Hebrew for Netanyahu

A zionist blogger from Saudi Arabia, who was jeered and spit on by angry Palestinians in the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, has sung in Hebrew during a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that followed the incident.

During the lengthy meeting that was held last week, the Israeli premier apologized to Mohammed Saud on Tel Aviv’s behalf for the incident.

For his part, the Saudi activist, who speaks some Hebrew, affirmed his support for Israel by singing a song by poet Leah Goldberg, the Times of Israel cited the Israeli Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson for the Arabic media, Hassan Caabia, as saying.

Saud attended the meeting on Tuesday along with other members of a six-person media delegation from Arab countries, including Jordan, that arrived in the occupied Palestinian territories at the invitation of the Israeli foreign minister.

Last Monday, Saud was filmed being chased out of the Old City of Jerusalem al-Quds as angry Palestinians spitted on him while others threw plastic chairs at him, accusing him of being a traitor and a Zionist.

Israeli police ordered four Palestinians to stay out of the al-Aqsa Mosque compound over the incident.

The office of Netanyahu released no photos and no separate readout of his meeting with the Arab journalists and bloggers, who asked not to be named. Saud was the only member of the delegation whose name was publicized.

Israel only has full diplomatic relations with two Arab states, Egypt and Jordan, but latest reports suggest the regime is working behind the scenes to establish formal contact with Saudi Arabia and its allies.
