Rafah crossing closed for third day

The Egyptian authorities retained the Rafah border terminal between Sinai and Gaza Strip closed for the third day running.

Those authorities attributed the closure to the continued security disturbances in various areas of Egypt especially in northern Sinai.

The Egyptian authorities had suddenly declared the indefinite closure of the crossing on Thursday in both directions.
