Rahimi: Nations should be vigilant toward plots of imperialists

First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi said on Monday all nations should exercise vigilance toward disastrous plots of imperialist powers in a bid to make good on their backwardness.
Rahimi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Sri Lanka’s Minister of Industry and Commerce Rishad Badiuddin.

The first vice-president said that the bullying powers create hindrance for the nations’ progress so that they plundered the wealth of the developing nations along the history.

Referring to the crimes perpetrated by the bullying powers in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other Muslim countries, Rahimi said the colonialist powers have targeted the Muslims nations.

Rahimi said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has cordial relations with Sri Lanka and is ready for enhancing ties with Sri Lanka in all arenas.

Badiuddin, for his part, called for fostering ties between two countries.

He added bullying powers are trying to sow discord among Muslims and Christians in Sri Lanka to reach their ominous goals.
