Trains have always been one of the easiest and least expensive means of transportation; Iran, with more than 12,000 kilometers of railways, is one of the countries that can offer the joy of train travel almost to all parts of the country.

Iran is a vast country with 1.6 million square km of land, which, with regards to the climatic variety and different geography it enjoys, it can offer numerous attractions. Tehran-Sari railway, which was built about a hundred years ago, runs through Alborz Mountain Ranges and many tunnels and over one of the highest and oldest railroad bridges in Iran, i.e. Veresk Bridge. The Train’s spiraling in the mountains will give you an unforgettable memory.

Veresk Bridge is a railways masterpiece near Savadkuh Town, Mazadndaran Province, northern Iran, which was made 85 years ago. It is 75 meters long and 110 high.

Iranian Railways Company uses different kinds of trains with various equipment and speeds, and would be the best choice for tourists looking for an enjoyable budget trip.
