Reconstruction materials will be allowed into Gaza soon

Minister of Works, Yousef al-Gariz, announced that the signing of the final protocol, with Cairo, to allow the entry of all the building materials needed for Gaza reconstruction which will take place next Thursday.

This came during a speech delivered by al-Gariz in a meeting held on Sunday evening in Gaza city, on the development of the construction industry and the possibilities available to meet the needs of projects of the Gaza Strip reconstruction.

Al-Gariz said that the lists of all the materials that are needed for the construction of the projects, granted by Qatar and other projects, will be presented soon.

He stressed that the industrial sector is one of the most affected sectors by the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip, as the siege has been preventing the entry of equipment and tools required for running this important sector, which has led to the migration of many experienced and skilled manpower.
