Regional countries must resist foreign interventions

Iran’s Majlis Speaker, Ali Larijani has described as necessary promotion of cooperation amongst regional countries for countering the challenging interferences by foreigners in the region.

In a meeting with the chairman of Algerian parliament’s foreign policy commission in Tehran on Wednesday, Larijani referred to the role of Syria in the axis of resistance and added that sowing seeds of discord in the world of Islam is one of the strategic policies of major powers for undermining the might of Muslims.
He reiterated that Iran and Algeria enjoy historical, cultural and religious bonds and efforts must be made for eliminating impediments in order to further boost bilateral relations.
The Algerian official for his part referred to commonalities between the two states adding that both countries share views on many regional and global issues such as the Syrian crisis.
He underscored that Islamic states must maintain their unity in all circumstances.
