Report: UK helps supply Israel with weapons used in killing civilians in Gaza

The British daily The Independent revealed on Saturday the critical role played by the United Kingdom in providing the Israeli army with a wide range of military equipment used in bombing Gaza civilians.

According to The Independent’s correspondent Cahal Milmo, the newspaper obtained documents that prove that British-made arms are being used in the current Israeli deadly onslaught on Gaza.

These arms, the report confirmed, have been exported to Israel thanks to arms export licenses worth GBP 42m granted to 130 British defence companies since 2010 which allowed them to sell military equipment to Israel. According to The Independent, the weapons “range from weapons control and targeting systems to ammunition, drones and armoured vehicles.”
