Reports: ISIS fighters burnt alive for abandoning Ramadi

It has been reported by residents in Mosul that fighters from the infamous terror group were burned alive after fleeing Ramadi when routed by the Iraqi Army.

A former resident of Iraq but still in contact with family back home told media that: “They were grouped together and made to stand in a circle and set on fire to die.” Retaking Ramadi from ISIS was imperative. Ramadi lays in Anbar Province which is Sunni-majority.

The city that was retaken by the Iraqi army with Sunni tribe allies just weeks back, however the city has been rendered uninhabitable for the time being.
