Resheq: Calm agreement does not restrict entry of arms into Gaza

Political bureau member of Hamas Ezzet Al-Resheq has denied press speculations that the calm agreement in Gaza between resistance factions and Israel through Egyptian mediation had restricted entry of weapons into Gaza.

He said on his Facebook page on Saturday that the report, which said that special American forces would oversee the ban on entry of arms into the coastal enclave, was false.

The Hamas leader said that the report was most likely circulated by Israel to alleviate the aftershock of its defeat in Gaza.
