Resistance detonates explosive device at Israeli patrol in Jeni

Palestinian resistance fighters on Wednesday evening detonated an explosive device at an Israeli military patrol at the entrance to Ya’bad town, south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that the bomb attack happened on a road between the entrance to Ya’bad town and the military checkpoint of Dothan.

According to the sources, the Israeli occupation forces intensified their presence inside and around Ya’bad town and launched a manhunt for the attackers following the blast.

Violent clashes also broke out between local young men and Israeli soldiers in Ya’bad after the latter set up a checkpoint on its main street and obstructed the movement of citizens.
