Roadside bomb martyrs 3 Syrian soldiers in Homs

At least three Syrian army soldiers were killed Tuesday and four others wounded when an explosive device planted by the rebels went off in the central province of Homsز

The explosive device was planted on the Homs-Palmyra road near the Hanoura Dam, the report said, spelling no further details.

Meanwhile, the oppositional Local Coordination Committees reported heavy artillery shelling by the government troops on the rebel-held Rastan town in Homs, adding that several people were injured as a result.

The violence in Homs has coincided with intense fighting in many Syrian areas, mainly the eastern province of Deir al-Zour and the countryside of the coastal province of Latakia.
