Robot attacks injured visitor during demonstration

A robot in China has attacked and injured a visitor at a Hi-Tech fair after smashing a glass booth.

The system of the robot, created for teaching four to 12 year-old children, went down for unknown reasons. The attack happened when the exhibitor was demonstrating the robot to visitors.

After the attack, the injured man was immediately taken to the hospital. The fair’s organizing committee says an employee mistakenly hit the “forward” button, instead of the “reverse” one, leading to the accident.

Chinese social media users wonder if this is the first shot in robot-versus-human war.
