“The first issue we discussed in this meeting was the earthquake of November 12 which hit our dear people in Kermanshah province,” recounted the Iranian president.

“First of all I want to thank all those who took good steps in offering help and rescue to the disaster-hit people,” said the Iranian president.

“In Syria all the endeavors made by Syrian people and army, along with all the other supporters of Syria led to success in war against terrorists which mounted to the eradication of all bases of the ISIL,” asserted the top official of Iran.

“However, a long path is left to be taken on the way to counter terrorism and those who created ISIL in Syria will not stay idol so we at the same time should stay vigilant and double our efforts,” articulated the Iranian president.

Touching upon the Sochi summit where President Rouhani joined President Trump of Russia and President Erdogan of Turkey, Mr. Rouhani described the talks as beneficial and constructive saying that the three countries have contributed positively in the political process of resolving the crisis in Syria.
