Rouhani urges Muslims to help Palestinians

IMG23421299 Iran’s president has called on Muslim countries to help people of Gaza Strip against the Israeli usurpers.
Hassan Rouhani issued a letter and called on heads of Muslim countries to do their best for an immediate end of blockade in Gaza Strip. He asked Muslims to help the oppressed people of Palestine saying that unity of Muslim countries against the enemies a vital matter at this stage.

President, in the letter, stated that resistance of the people of Gaza would with no doubt defeat the Zionist regime.

Rouhani made hints to the recent attacks and aggressive actions by atrocious Zionist regime in the besieged Gaza and said that continuation of the Israeli aggression in Gaza Strip, critical shortage of medical aids and prohibition of humanitarian aid transfer to the people there are all worrying and can lead to a human catastrophe.

He called on all Islamic countries to take responsibility to use all their efforts to help Palestinians and asserted that Muslims unity and integrity against the enemies are mostly needed at this stage than any other time.

Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had also issued a letter and called on the UN, the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to interfere against the Israeli aggression in Palestine.

Israel has been attacking the besieged Gaza Strip for three days and killed at least 80 people and injured around 500 others. Gaza Strip has been besieged since June 2007 where people suffer from lack of basic living standards and poverty.

Recent violence against Palestinians has intensified over the past month after Israel found the dead bodies of three settlers. It abducted and burned alive Mohammed Abu Khdeir, a Palestinians teen, as a revenge in East al-Quds last week. Israel blamed three teenagers’ deaths on Hamas but the resistance movement rejected that.
