Salehi to meet Morsi
The Islamic Republic of Iran Minister of Foreign Affairs has travelled to Cairo, Egypt, will have meeting with Egyptian President.
Ali Akbar Salehi will visit Mohammad Morsi today (Thursday) and will deliver Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s letter to him.

He also will meet Mohamed Kamel Amr, Egyptian Foreign Minister and will discuss approaches to expand bilateral ties in different aspects, and also regional and international developments.

Salehi arrived at Egypt in his African countries visit round last night and will negotiate the Syrian crisis with Egyptian officials. Mojtaba Amani, the Head of Iran’s Interests Section in Egypt told reporters Saheli would have a meeting with Lakhdar Brahimi, the UN and Arab League special envoy on Syria and Egyptian authorities, in addition to Morsi and Kamel Amr.

Amani assessed Salehi visit to Cairo as important and added that Iran, Egypt, and Turkey will discuss Egypt’s initiative on Syria, and also Assad’s plan in joint session.
