SANA denies news on explosion near its center

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) on Sunday dismissed as “baseless” news on the explosion of an explosive device near the Agency, asserting that the news come in the framework of the misleading media campaign directed against Syria and the Syrian national media.

Members of the Engineering Units on Sunday dawn dismantled an explosive device planted by terrorists near the Obstetrics Hospital in al-Halbouni area in Damascus.

Minor material damage resulted in the device’s dismantling but no casualties reported.
