The Saudi jetfighters stuck two districts in the Eastern parts of the capital Sana’a on Sunday.
According to eyewitnesses, the Saudi jet fighters hit Naqm and Sawan districts in Eastern Sana’a.

There are no reports on the exact number of people killed in Saudi airstrikes in Sana’a, but Naqm is one of Yemen’s biggest arms depots which is under the control of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh and his forces.

Earlier today, the Saudi-led coalition launched airstrikes against civilians in the Western Yemeni city of Hudaydah.

“In response to the bombing of the airport in Hudaydah, Yemeni air defense forces have been returning fire for half an hour,” the source said, Sputniknews reported.

The locals residing in the airport area had to leave their homes because of the bombings.

Hudaydah is Yemen’s second most important port after Aden. It is also the administrative center of the country’s most populous governorate.

Saudi Arabia started airstrikes against Yemen early Thursday, one day after the US-backed Yemeni president fled the country.

Riyadh claimed that it has bombed the positions of the Ansarullah fighters and launched attacks against the Sana’a airport and the Dulaimi airbase.

But despite Riyadh’s claims, Saudi warplanes have flattened a number of homes near Sana’a international airport.

At least 60 Yemeni civilians, including women and children, have been killed in the last four days of Saudi airstrikes.

Five Persian Gulf States — Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait — backed by the US have declared war on Yemen in a joint statement issued earlier Thursday.

The Saudi aggression has received growing international condemnation as it is pushing the region and the world into an unprecedented fast-growing war as its ISIL mercenaries are on the brink of complete annihilation in Iraq and Syria.
