Saudi Arabia fears strengthening Iran-Egypt ties

A former Saudi Shura Council member has voiced his concerns over Iranian Foreign Minister’s visit to Egypt, and strengthening ties between two countries.
Akhbar Al Youm news website reported that Mohammed Abdullah Al Zulqa, former Saudi Arabian Shura Council member has expressed his concerns over strengthening Iran-Egypt ties.

Al Zulga claimed that Iran suffers international economic and political isolation and this would pose problems in Iran and Egypt relations.

Speaking to ONTV Network with much propaganda and fuss, He told that “if Egypt follows Iran in its military and security issues, it will face a great disaster.”

This former Saudi Arabian Shura Council member has expressed his opinions following the visit by Ali Akbar Salehi, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs to Egypt.
