Saudi Arabia is after blocking Islamic Awakening wave

The political analyst, Hussein Kanani Moqadam in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) stressed Saudia Arabia is after suppressing rising inspired by the Islamic Revolution of Iran, in different countries.

“Regarding Saudi Arabia’s stance in the region which is in step with the US policy, the country is after three main aims by attacking Yemen,” said the political analyst stressing the first objective would be blocking spread of Islamic Awakening wave pervaded much of the region.

The political commentator went on to stressed that in shared borders of Saudi Arabia and Yemen, the penetration of Islamic Awakening is literally obvious.

“U.S in Bahrain and different corners of the World is after targeting revolutions whose their models are Islamic Revolution of Iran, which by nature, against U.S policy and regime of Zionism’s moves in the region,” he underlined.

Kanani Moqadam beckoned to the second aim and underscored, “destroying and debilitating Islamic armies which can be utilized by resistance movement for releasing Palestine and standing against the regime of Zionism is the second objective.”

“Presently what we are witnessed to, is destroying powers and Islamic army in Yemen,” pointed out the political analyst stressing the latent aim behind such move is removing any power against the regime of Zionism in the region.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Kanani Moqadam underscored Saudi Arabia seeks to stop spreading the idea of Islamic Revolution in the region and in doing so, tries to divide Muslim nations, making a gap among them.

The analyst beckoned to Saudi recent attack and underscored required measures should be taken so as to stop the barbaric attack of Saudi Arabia in Yemen and put an end to the present turmoil in the region.

On March 26, the Al Saud regime unleashed deadly air raids against Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. Riyadh says it has launched the airstrikes to defend the “legitimate government” of Hadi upon his request.

Dozens of people, including women and children, have been killed since early Thursday, when Saudi Arabia began the invasion of Yemen.

On Saturday, the United Nations said most of its 100 international staff were evacuated from Sana’a.

The situation has become increasingly tense in Aden, with supporters of Houthi fighters clashing with “popular committees” — an anti-Houthi militia controlling parts of the city.
