Saudi official forewarns of increasing dispersion

One of the prominent Saudi religious scholars warned Muslims of increasing dispersion in the Islamic Ummah.
“Dispersion and widening the gulf among Muslims from different Islamic denominations is a threat to the standing unity in the Islamic World,” said religious Saudi pundit, Sheikh Hasan Saffar, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

“The Islamic World is grappled with political wrangles and unfortunately some groups are purporting to show the main reasons behind these scuffles are religious issues,” the religious thinker underscored.

Enemies want Muslims cross swords with each other over minute issues, “doing their utmost to expand these noxious infightings,” said Sheikh Hasan Saffar and untied any relation between these spats and religious issues.

The religious cleric, in another line of his speech, chastised some Saudi Islamic institutions for their silence against Anti-Islamic movements in this country.

Sheikh Hasan Saffar also urged Muslims from different Islamic Schools of Thoughts to conserve their national and Islamic unity and rapproachment, stating, “spurring on Muslims to keep their unity and holding colloquy is not an ephemeral goal, but a long term plan.
