“Saving the strike” campaign in support of the Palestinian prisoners

The liberated prisoner, Majdi Hammad, Waad association’s vice president, announced the start of “saving the strike” campaign which includes a number of events in support of the Palestinian prisoners’ just demands.

The Israeli prison authorities deliberately violated the terms of agreement achieved by the prisoners’ hunger strike which may lead the prisoners to escalate their protest steps, Hammad said in a solidarity tent organized by Ta’awon association and the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate in Gaza on Wednesday.

The liberated prisoner called on Egypt, the mediator of the agreement that ended the Dignity strike, to press on occupation for implementing the rest of the agreement’s terms, appreciating the Egyptian authority’ efforts.

Hammad confirmed that the “saving the strike” events will include all Palestinian, Arab, and international parties, Arab and international to form a continuing solidarity state with the prisoners in the occupation prisons.

Dozens of Palestinian journalists, prisoners’ families, and liberated prisoners have participated in the “saving the strike” campaign demanding an end to the prisoners’ isolation and an end to the Israeli brutal attacks on them.
