Sayyed Ali Fadlallah: Muslim unity, best reward of Hajj

Prominent Lebanese cleric hailed Islamic solidarity as the best result of Hajj pilgrimage calling that the best weapon against the enemies, particularly amid the present critical era in the world of Islam.

Hujjat-ul Islam Sayyed Ali Fadlallah, Friday prayer leader of Beirut, met with Lebanese Hajj pilgrims in the holy city of Mecca hailing Muslim unity as the best result of Hajj pilgrimage, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Lebanese scholar, having arrived in the holy city of Mecca to attend Hajj ceremony, called the pilgrimage a manifest of unity among Muslims and a proper opportunity to return to God Almighty.

“During Hajj and when followers of all Islamic denominations, are involved in prayers together, Islamic unity is truly is in full glory and this can set the grounds for institutionalization of unity in all Muslim states.” said the Shia cleric and noted unity as the best defense in confrontation with enemies.

Beirut prayer leader warned against the present era as the time of intrigues and said,” Human rights and international organizations, take a neutral stance towards those who spread dispersion in the Islamic states.”

He also referred to the issue of Syrian refugees fleeing to European countries as a new problem in the region which has to be resolved by Muslim countries.
