Sayyed Nasrallah: Israeli army, was smashed at the feet of our fighters

w460 (5)Sayyed Nasrallah Addresses Crowds on Injured Fighter Day:
Al-Abbas is the idol of the jihadist fighters who continue to do everything in their capacity to perform the mission that serves the objectives. His birthday is a day for every wounded resistance fighter and every jihadist warrior. It is a day for our wounded who were the men of courage and steadfastness in all battlefields … and are today proving their steadfastness on this path in all the places.
Your wounds remind us of the heroism of the resistance fighters in the face of the Grapes of Wrath in 1996 and remind us of the victories of the resistance in 2000 and 2006.
These wounds tell the story of the resistance in Lebanon, which had enough awareness and the clear vision to realize the danger of remaining silent over the American and Israeli occupation or coexisting with the American hegemony in 1982. In addition to awareness, this resistance possessed the will to fight for liberation despite the Arabs’ betrayal, the numerous enemies and the collusion of some Lebanese parties. This resistance offered martyrs and wounded fighters and thousands of its men entered detention camps and their homes were destroyed. This resistance, through these countless sacrifices, is the side that liberated Lebanon from occupation.
Today, if there is a state in Lebanon and if there is dignity, fortunes, water, oil and gas, the credit goes to all the resistance fighters and their wounds.
The resistance preserved Lebanon and I tell Arabs and Muslims that this near past must not be forgotten because some parties are seeking to get rid of this past. The current battle is an extension of the past and it is targeted against all the sacrifices of the near past.
A major uproar happened after our intervention, but had we intervened on the side of the opposition, they would have glorified our intervention and they would have raise our flags and Arab TV networks would have spared us.
There is a front that was targeted by the Americans, the Israelis and the Takfiris, and we were attacked when we intervened on the side of this front.
Are we really fighting in al-Raqqa, Tartus, Idlib, Deir Ezzor, al-Hasakeh and Daraa? The answer is no. We have decent capabilities and we believe that any modest support is useful in the face of a global scheme that is targeting everyone.
We did not hide and we did not send our young men to Syria and claim that we were distributing milk and blankets. We did not bury them in Syria and did not ask their families to remain silent. Wherever we go, we respect our duties and the (Islamic) Sharia and we are not ashamed by our martyrs.
There is a cause. They are not thieves and bandits, but are rather struggling for a cause.
Hizbullah does not have members in the Gulf countries and we don’t have schemes in the Gulf or anywhere else.
Mistaken are those who think that they can push us to change our stance through putting us on terror lists and intimidating the Lebanese citizens. We are in the right position and it deserves sacrifices.
Resorting to the sectarian rhetoric is a point of weakness and curses are the weapon of the impotent and the weak.
We understand the extreme anger of the Arab states because they were the sponsors of this scheme and they made an adventure and they are feeling that this scheme is being defeated and that the balance of power has changed.
I’m pleased by the stances of the Shiites who are against our stance as that helps in proving that the conflict is not between Sunnis and Shiites and we are exerting efforts to prevent such a conflict.
They published a report claiming that Hizbullah members had hoisted the flag of (Imam) Hussein on the Omar ibn al-Khattab Mosque, saying that Qusayr had been declared a Shiite town. Is this a rational and responsible behavior? Why are they inciting although the report is false and baseless.
There is a group of mosques in the town of Qusayr and there are idiots who don’t know that there are Shiites in Qusayr who have a neighborhood, homes and the Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba Mosque. The Hizbullah men hoisted the flag on this mosque, not on the Omar ibn al-Khattab Mosque, which is several kilometers away.
