Sayyed Nasrallah to Deliver Speech in Arbaeen Commemoration

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah is to deliver a televised speech on Saturday on the occasion of Arbaeen in the city of Baalbeck.

On Friday night, his eminence urged to generalize the commemoration of Arbaeen, as he was recalling Karbala in the history in a ceremony at Sayyed Shuhada Complex in Beirut’s southern Suburbs.

Hezbollah is staging a ceremony in Baalbeck Saturday, in which the “Procession of Greif and Pride” “would pass by the neighborhoods of the city, echoing the procession of Imam Hussein’s family which extended from Karbala to Damascus, passing by Baalbeck.

On the other hand, media outlets said on Saturday that Sayyed Nasrallah would respond to UN Chief Ban Ki-moon, who said on Friday he was “deeply concerned about the military prowess of Hezbollah”.

“I am deeply concerned about the military capacity of Hizbullah and also concerned about the lack of progress in disarmament,” the U.N. chief told a news conference after holding talks with Lebanese leaders.
“All arms outside state authority are not acceptable,” he added.

Ban arrived in Beirut on Friday for talks with Lebanese leaders on the controversial U.N.and israel-backed Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Syrian Unrest and Hezbollah’s arms.
