Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim receives a delegation from the Alliance of Turkmen Political Forces headed by Sheikh al-Mawla

Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI), received on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at his Baghdad office a delegation from the Alliance of Turkmen Political Forces headed by Sheikh Muhammed Taqi al-Mawla. His Eminence stressed that Iraq’s diversity is its destiny and the source of its wealth, pointing out that the Turkmen are a segment that has offered sacrifices, suffering for the sake of Iraq’s stability and the freedom of its people.
On his part, Sheikh al-Mawla and the delegation accompanying him stressed that the meeting with Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim focused on the conditions of the Turkmen and the repeated targeted to which they are subjected since the year 2003, explaining that the delegation expressed appreciation of the viewpoint of His Eminence with regard to treating the Turkmen’s conditions in Iraq.
