Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim Receives the Iranian FM Mohamed Jawad Zarif

The Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sayyid Ammar Al Hakim, received, in his Baghdad office on Sunday, 8/9/2013, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohamed Jawad Zarif and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between the Iraqi and Iranian countries and peoples, as well as the current developments in the region, notably the Syrian crisis. His Eminence stressed that the optimal solution for the Syrian crisis is the political one.
