Scores of women rally in support of Syrian gov’t in Qamishli

A large number of women rallied in support of the Syrian government in the city of Al-Qamishli, Monday, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.

According to the SANA report, the rally began at Al-Sabi’a Bahrat Square as many of the participants carried the Syrian flag and photos of Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad towards the Arab Cultural Center Square in central Al-Qamishli.

The participants also denounced the Turkish military’s incursion in the country, while chanting in support of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

This rally was held in response to the Turkish military’s recent buildup along the Syrian border and their threats to invade east of the Euphrates.
