Tehran’s interim Friday prayers leader Ayatollah Ahmad Khatami said on Friday that the Turkish President Recep Tayyep Erdogan owes two more apologies over buying oil from Daesh terrorists and rapprochement with Israel.

He made the remarks in his second sermon to the Friday prayers worshippers.

Ayatollah Khatami said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has criticism about President Erdogan’s foreign policy.

The Friday prayers leader made clear that the Islamic Republic of Iran condemned the coup attempt in Turkey in the early hours.

‘From the very beginning of the coup attempt, our government condemned the coup and military takeover, because we respect the vote of the people, and with the same criterion, we support the governments in Syria and Palestine and the Bahraini people.’

The Turkish president apologized to Russia for shooting down a Russian Su-24 fighter jet, yet he owes two more apologies, Ayatollah Khatami said.

First, he has to apologize to all the victims of Daesh terrorist group all across the globe because he provides the terrorists with the needed space, office and border markets and buys for a low price the oil they steal, said the cleric.

Ayatollah Khatami said that Erdogan owes another apology to the Muslims for his dual behavior towards the Zionist regime.

‘One day you stand up to the Israeli leaders for child killing and the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Israeli leaders, but, the other day you announce normalization of relations with Tel Aviv.’
