Senior Hamas Official hails decisions taken by PLO
Member of Hamas’s political bureau Mousa Abu Marzouk on Thursday welcomed some of the decisions made by the Central Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization as “good and a step in the right direction.”
“Many of the decisions taken by the PLO Central Council are good and constitute a step in the right direction. Hamas is receiving them positively,” Abu Marzouk said in a brief statement late Thursday.
At the end of its two-day meeting, the PLO Central Council decided to halt security cooperation with Israel and take further steps to promote the national reconciliation with Hamas.
