Iranian MPs: Barbaric Attacks on Gaza Another Show of Israel’s Barbarism

The Iranian parliament once again condemned Israel’s weeklong attacks on the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, describing the “wild aggressions” as another show of the Zionist regime’s barbarism.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the parliament’s Women and Family Fraction slammed Israel for launching all-out war against the besieged people in the Gaza Strip, and stressed, “These barbaric attacks once again lay emphasis on the barbarism of this usurper regime.”

“The Women and Family Fraction of the Islamic Consultative Assembly deplores the aggression and calls on all the world bodies and Muslims to support the Muslim people of Gaza,” the fraction said in the statement.

Israel triggered the new round of its assaults against Gazans by assassinating the military chief of the ruling Hamas group on Wednesday followed by dozens of airstrikes on Gaza.

Over 115 Palestinians have been killed and more than 900 others injured in the new wave of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since Wednesday. At least a third of them have been women and children.
