Senior Terrorist Commander Killed by Unknown Raiders in Northwestern Syria

 

Hamoud al-Fayadh, a security commander of the Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board), was gunned down by unknown attackers in Northwestern Idlib, dissident-affiliated websites reported on Wednesday.

The news websites reported that Hamoud al-Fayadh nom de guerre Abu Mohammad al-Homawi, an Al-Nusra security commander in Eastern regions, was killed by the fire of unidentified attackers in a region between the town of Kafr Takharim and the town of Armanaz in Northwestern Idlib.

Local sources reported on Monday that people in a key terrorist-held town in Southwestern Idlib took to the streets for, opposing corruption and insecurity created by the terrorist groups’ rule.

The sources reported that people in the town of Jisr al-Shughour in Southwestern Idlib poured into the streets for the second day, condemning Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) and the Islamic al-Turkistani Party for the insecurity and corruption they created in the town and other militant-held regions in Idlib.

In the meantime, the sources said that a bomb went off in front of Al-Nusra’s checkpoint in al-Za’einiyeh region West of Jisr al-Shughour.

The sources further said that another bomb went off an Al-Nusra checkpoint near the village of al-Qassaniyeh, while another bomb detonated at another checkpoint of Al-Nusra in Ein al-Baydha region West of Jisr al-Shughour, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.
