Settlers attack on Qarawat Bani Hassan

Dozens of extremist settlers came from the settlement of “Netafim” near the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan west of Salfeet, today to attack the territory of the people in the region known as “Al-Major”. Palestinian shepherds and citizens used it for drinking and farming in the town, the attack was an attempt to confiscate it.

The mayor of Qarawat Bani Hassan said “A number of settlers accompanied by a bulldozer under the protection of the Israeli soldiers went to “Al-Major” east of the town to destroy it.”

He added “The Israeli settlers came back again with doubled number and attacked the town’s land, they set up illegal outposts extended gradually to reach most of the citizens’ private lands.”

The mayor detailed that the town was suffering from repeated attacks from the settlers in this settlement for years.

“In less than a month, the Israeli settlers beat more than 6 unarmed Palestinian citizens of the town residents and farmers, noting that Qarawat Bani Hassan surrounded by four settlements from all directions.
