Shehab, Zelzal to be Fired in New IRGC Missile Drill

Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has begun its latest missile exercise, named “The Great Prophet 7” in central Iran.

The drill is aimed at testing Iran’s latest surface-to-surface missile achievements and will run for three days in the central Iranian province of Semnan.

Various long, medium and short-range missiles will target “simulations of the transregional forces’ airbases” in the northern Semnan desert, Commander of Iran’s IRGC Aerospace Division Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh said on Sunday.

According to Hajizadeh, the drill – which will include short, medium, and long-range missiles of a variety of models (including Shahab, Zelzal, and Fateh) – is being held as part of the air force’s annual exercises. Missiles are slated to be fired in the direction of ships and bomber drones are also expected to be used on the last day of the drill.

Turning to the Zionist entity, Hajizadeh declared that “if it makes a wrong step, the will give us a reason to wife them off the earth.”

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in the defense sector and gained self-sufficiency in essential military hardware and defense systems.
