Sheikh Qassem Stresses Right of Palestinians, Importance of Confronting “Israeli” Enemy

Hizbullah Secretary General Deputy His Eminence Sheikh Naim Qassem assured that Hizbullah supports Palestinian civil rights in Lebanon, noting “[We totally support Palestinians’ rights in Lebanon], unlike the nationalization process which we all reject.”
Sheikh Qassem promised to call for speeding up the reconstruction process of the Nahr al-bared camp.
Following a meeting with the leadership of Palestinian forces coalition in Lebanon, Sheikh Qassem said “We should focus on the “Israeli” threat that impends not only Palestine but the entire region.” He reiterated that Palestinians have the right to return triumphant to their homeland.
For his part, Sheikh Atallah Hamoud, deputy of Hizbullah official responsible for the Palestinian dossier who was present at the meeting assured the rejection of settlement, and stressed adhering to the civil rights of Palestinian refugees as well as to the right of return to the occupied Palestinian land.

Atallah considered that US and “Israeli” pressure are the reason behind the failure of the Palestinian reconciliation. He pointed out the importance of firmly holding onto the choice of resistance.
