Sheikh Zahar: March of Return foiled conspiracy against Gaza

Member of Hamas’s Political Bureau Mahmoud al-Zahar on Friday said that the Great March of Return has thwarted a “criminal conspiracy” against the Gaza Strip.

Al-Zahar in exclusive statements to the PIC said that cutting the salaries of Gaza employees and reducing medical and power supplies to the Gaza Strip are aimed at paving the way for the Deal of the Century.

He added that these punitive measures fall in line with a bigger plan to incite the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip against resistance movements.

Palestinians have been protesting since 30 Mach near the border between Gaza and the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories to call for lifting the siege and allowing Palestinian refugees to return to their lands from which they were expelled in 1948.

So far 205 peaceful protesters have been killed by the Israeli army, and over 22,000 injured, 400 of whom are in critical condition.
