Slaughterer Israeli occupation forces raid houses of Hamas and Islamic Jihad officials in Jenin

Zionist Slaughterer Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided at dawn Thursday the towns of Yamoun and Silat Al-Harithiya to the west of Jenin city and interrogated Palestinian senior leaders from Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian information center (PIC) that a senior Israeli intelligence officer escorted by troops stormed Yamoun town at two o’clock in the morning and questioned Hamas official Ibrahim Nawahda after a violent raid on his house.

The sources added that the officer warned Nawahda that the Israeli intelligence was watching all activities and movements made by him and his fellow activists and would curb them if necessary and also questioned him about other public issues.

The IOF also raided the house of Islamic Jihad official Hani Jaradat in the nearby town of Silat Al-Harithiya town. He was interrogated and threatened as well by an Israeli intelligence officer.

In an earlier incident yesterday, violent clashes broke out between Palestinian young men and Israeli troops who stormed Yabud town south of Jenin and raided the house of a Palestinian ex-detainee in Israeli jails.

Eyewitnesses said the troops deliberately provoked the Palestinian citizens during the raid leading to the outbreak of the clashes.

Zionist Israeli intelligence officer who came along with the invading troops questioned an ex-detainee named Mohamed Atatera inside his house in the town.
