Slaughterer Zionist Forces quells West Bank peaceful marches injuring dozens of protestors

Slaughterer Zionist Israeli occupation forces (IOF) suppressed the peaceful weekly marches of the West Bank staged in solidarity with the prisoners and the Egyptian and Syrian peoples, and in protest against the repeated raids in Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Dozens of citizens and foreign solidarity activists suffered from suffocation after inhaling the tear gas, during the occupation’s suppression of the weekly anti-settlement and apartheid wall march of Bil’in.

The protestors raised the Palestinian flags, and roamed the streets of the village chanting slogans that call for national unity, release of all prisoners, and adherence to Palestinian constants and resistance.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated metal, tear gas and stun grenades towards the demonstrators upon their arrival to the liberated territories near the apartheid wall, causing dozens of them to suffocate. They added that the IOF chased demonstrators in the olive groves.

The Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements in the village explained that this week the march was staged in solidarity with the prisoners and with Egypt and Syria and in protest at the settlers’ fierce attack against the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The IOF also suppressed the weekly march of the village of Nabi Saleh.

As soon as the marchers arrived to the confiscated lands the Israeli soldiers fired at them tear gas grenades and rubber bullets, which caused scores of cases of suffocation. The IOF also closed the main road of the village.

Meanwhile, the Israeli troops arrested a Palestinian activist after quelling the weekly march of Ma’sara village, the coordinator of the National Committee against the Wall and Settlements in Bethlehem Hassan Briggah stated.
