Speaker al-Laham: Syria will not relinquish the rights of the Palestinian people

Speaker of the People’s Assembly Mohammad Jihad al-Laham affirmed that Syria will not relinquish the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state despite the conspiracy and war targeting Syria to dissuade it from its national choices and positions.

Meeting Secretary General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, Ahmad Jibril, al-Laham said that Syria is paying the price of its support for resistance movements and just Arab causes, primarily the Palestinian cause.

Al-Laham lauded the positions of the Popular Front in support of Syria in the face of conspiracies.

For his part, Jibril affirmed that Syria will remain the frontline of struggle against the Israeli enemy, noting that the Popular Front has voiced its full support for Syria since the beginning of the crisis and expressed readiness to fight alongside the Syrian Army.

“We believe that if Syria is doing well, then the road to Palestine will be paved,” he said, lauding the steadfastness of the Syrian people and the sacrifices of the Syrian Army.
