Successful military operations diminish terrorist groups

Remarkable advances were made Monday by the Army in its operations against terrorists in several areas around the country.

Army units destroyed vehicles with all terrorists inside to the west of Hreitan, to the south of Daret Ezza, Kafar Dael, Tal Refaat, al-Kastello and Handarat in Aleppo countryside, a military source said.

Army units eliminate terrorists in Aleppo

Units of the Syrian Arab Army continued operations on Monday against the terrorist gatherings and dens in a number of Aleppo neighborhoods and villages in Aleppo province.

The army units eliminated scores of terrorists and destroyed their weapons, vehicles and ammunition in the industrial city, al-Maslamieh, Mare’, Hanano, al-Halk, Anadan, al-Atareb, Dwari Badin, al-Jandol, al-Mansoura, al-Lairamon and Dahret Abd-Rabbo areas.

SANA reporter added that the army units eliminated scores of terrorists in Bani Zaid, al-Sukari, Bustan al-Qaser, Salah Eddin and the old city of Aleppo.

In the same context, a military source told SANA that the army units killed and injured several terrorists, some of them were non-Syrians, in addition to destroying their weapons and ammunition in Hreitan in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Army units eliminate scores of terrorists in Daraa countryside

Meanwhile, the army units eliminated several terrorists and destroyed their criminal tools in Daraa al-Balad and countryside.

A military source told SANA reporter that the army units destroyed a tunnel used by terrorist groups in al-Manshieh neighborhood in Daraa al-Balad and killed and terrorists who were inside the tunnel.

The source added that an army unit targeted a terrorist gathering in Atman town in Daraa countryside and killed scores of terrorists and destroyed a vehicle.

In the meantime, a military source told SANA reporter that army units eliminated members of an armed terrorist groups that tried to infiltrate into a military point in Dara countryside.

One citizen killed, others wounded by terrorist attacks in several areas

One citizen was killed and her husband got injured in an explosive device blast in Hama city.

A source in the province told SANA reporter that terrorists planted the explosive device in the car and detonated it remotely killing a citizen and injuring her husband who was rushed to Hama National Hospital.

3 citizens wounded by mortar rounds in Damascus

Meanwhile in Damascus, three citizens were wounded by mortar shells that terrorists launched on residential areas.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that terrorists detonated an explosive device they attached to a car near the intersection of Baghdad Street and al-Azbakieh neighborhood, wounding the driver and causing material damage.

The source added that two mortar rounds struck al-Farrayieen Street near Bab al-Salam in al-Qasaa’ neighborhood, inflicting material losses.

Terrorist mortar attacks injure citizen in Damascus Countryside

A citizen was injured by mortar shells fired by terrorists on Kashkoul neighborhood in Jaramana and Harasta suburb in Damascus Countryside.

A source at the Police Command told SANA that 4 mortar shells fell on Kashkoul neighborhood, injuring a citizen and causing material damage to a number of houses, shops and cars.

The source added that another shell landed on the western entrance of Jaramana city, causing material damage to Omar Ibin al-Khatab Mosque.

It pointed out that 4 shells also fell on P4 and C4 Islands in Harasta suburb, causing material damage to a number of citizens’ houses and cars.

Non-Syrian terrorists killed in Damascus Countryside

SANA field reporter said that the army units carried out operations against terrorists in Joubar, killing and injuring large numbers of them.

Most of the dead terrorists were non-Syrians, including Baraa Mazeen form Saudi Arabia.

In Douma city, the army units killed and injured large numbers of terrorists, destroying their weapons and ammunition.

The reporter added that other army units stormed terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Khan al-Sheeh and its farms, killing many terrorists.

Another army units repelled terrorists’ attempt to attack a military checkpoint in the area surrounding Khearet Danoun town in al-Kisweh are, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

Army units eliminate terrorists in Homs countryside

A military source told SANA that units of the army destroyed terrorist dens and gatherings in Taldaw, Kafar Laha, al-Nserieh, al-Samalil in al-Hola district and eliminated a number of terrorists.

The source added that army units eliminated an armed terrorist group in al-Rastan and destroyed terrorist gatherings in Talbieseh, al-Qabban and al-Ghajar areas in Homs countryside.

A military source said that army units targeted terrorist gatherings in the surrounding of Mount-40 area, Khan al-Subl, Kafar Laha and Majdalia in Idleb countryside and killed and injured many terrorists.

Army units targeted terrorist gatherings and hideouts in the areas of Salam Gharbi, al-Arshouna, al-Houleh, and al-Rastan, eliminating many terrorists and destroying their equipment.

Army targets terrorists in Idleb countryside

Army units targeted terrorist gatherings in the areas of al-Ze’baqi, Dwair al-Akrad, al-Sermaniye, Sarja, al-Arbaeen mountain, Kafr Najd, Hersh Msibin, and around al-Daif valley in Idleb countryside, eliminating a number of terrorists and injuring others.

An army unit eliminated an entire terrorist group near Mount Hilla in Idleb countryside and destroyed their equipment. Most of the terrorists were foreigners including two Libyans named Qutaiba al-Sarrar and Badih Bayoumi and a Tunisian called Manhal al-Jarrash.

Terrorists eliminated in Deir Ezzor

An army unit killed all members of an armed terrorist group while they were planting an explosive device that set to be detonated remotely on Palmyra-Deir Ezzor road in Wadi Ahmar area.

A source told SANA that the army units seized the car used by the terrorist group and dismantled the explosive device.
