Sunni cleric in Kurdistan condemned Saudi invasion on Yemen and stressed immediate measures should be taken against these attacks.

Sunni cleric in Kurdistan, Mamousta Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) condemned Saudi invasion on Yemen, stressing immediate measures should be taken against these attacks.

“Unity and rapprochement among religious denominations an sects was the secret of Muslims’ victory,” underlined Mamousta Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini stressing those who tarnish this solidarity will damage the standing security of the Islamic society.

“Unfortunately, nowadays , Saudi Arabia teaming up with some other Arabian countries in the region, initiated a catalogue of massacre in Yemen,” pointed out Mamousta Hosseini adding the country for fulfilling the willful objective of main powers plunge the region to a plagued milieu.

“Any military move against Muslims is condemned and we hope Saudi officials stop bombarding innocent people of Yemen,” Mamousta Hosseini mentioned.

Sanandaj Sunni cleric voiced hope that Saudi Arabia stop military strikes, letting humanitarian aid enter to Yemen.

Needless to say, Saudi obstruction of aid to Yemen runs counter to international laws and the measure has been condemned by many religious clerics and leaders.

On April 21, Riyadh announced the end of the first phase of its unlawful military operation, which has claimed the lives of nearly 1,000 people so far, but airstrikes have continued with Saudi bombers targeting different areas across the country in a new phase.

According to Yemen’s Health Ministry, the month-long Saudi aggression has killed nearly 150 children and around 100 women.
