Sunni Cleric: Victory of Islamic Revolution restored identity of Iranian nation

An Iranian Sunni scholar congratulated the anniversary of Islamic Revolution and hailed the event as a phenomenon that restored the identity and value of Iranian nation.
Haji Rahim Berdi Akhoond Samadi, Friday prayer leader of Jargalan in Northern Khorasan Province in an exclusive interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) praised the efforts of late Imam Khomeini (RA) for the victory of Islamic Revolution and urged Muslim world to follow the guidelines of the late founder of Islamic Revolution in all fields.

He highlighted the flourishing of rural areas as a valuable achievement of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and called that as the beginning point for realization of the far-fetched dreams of the people.

He quoted the guidelines of Imam Khomeini (RA) on the necessity of unity among Muslim communities and said,” Muslims have to avoid disunity since that breaches solidarity among Islamic denominations.”

He underscored the role of Islamic unity in victory of the Islamic Revolution and lauded late Ayatollah Seyyed Rouhollah Khomeini (RA) as the harbinger of Islamic unity who warned against any attack on solidarity among Islamic nations.

Akhoond Samadi reiterated the necessity of protecting the asset from the enemies and called for wide participation of Iranian nation in annual demonstration held on February 10th.
