Supreme Leader attends Hazrat Fatemeh (PBUH) mourning ceremonies

The Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, attended the mourning ceremonies, marking the anniversary of martyrdom of the venerable daughter of Prophet Mohammad (Blessings of God upon him and his progeny), Hazrat Fatemeh (Peace be upon her), at Imam Khomeini Husseiniyeh in Tehran.

According to IRIB World Service, large numbers of people from all walks of life were present in this mourning ceremony.

Throughout this ceremony, one of the clerics, in his speech, termed the principles governing the family of Hazrat Fatemeh (Peace be upon her) as exemplary.

He also mentioned the current threats against families, while adding that focus on the lifestyle of Hazrat Fatemeh (Peace be upon her) and reinforcement of kindness among the family members protect and safeguard families in the face of threats.

In this ceremony, elegies and eulogies were also read, mourning the anniversary of martyrdom of Hazrat Fatemeh (Peace be upon her).
