Syria- Al-Qaeda-Linked Armed Terrorist Groups Killed and injured in Different Areas

Army units on Monday killed armed terrorist groups from al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra that were attacking people and committing brutal acts in Hejjera, al-Dhiyabiyeh, al-Mashtal and Yalda in Damascus Countryside, and they also destroyed weapons and ammunition that were used by the terrorists to attack civilians.

An official source told SANA reporter that several terrorist were killed to the west of the vegetable market in Hejjera and a van, used for transferring terrorists, was destroyed along with a DShK-Equipped car near Abu Bakr Mosque, killing all the terrorists inside of them.

The source added that two mortar launchers were destroyed in al-Husseinyeh in al-Sayyda Zenab area, in front of Sara Company, in addition to killing several of al-Qaeda terrorists.

In al-Dhiyabiyeh town, a military unit inflicted heavy losses upon an armed terrorist group, killing many of them and injuring others near Abu Adnan Farm. The military unit destroyed a mortar launcher and different sorts of weapons.

Another military unit clashed with an armed terrorist group in al-Mashtal area in al-Sayyda Zenab, killing several terrorists.

An official source told SANA reporter that the army clashed with two armed groups near Fatima and al-Imam mosques, killing and injuring a number of terrorists and destroying quantities of weapons including machineguns and rifles.

The source added that another army unit pursued terrorists in Ghbeir square in Irbeen, Damascus countryside, killing a number of the dangerous terrorists, some of them from al-Qaeda.

Authorities seize weapons in al-Tabiyat, Lattakia

The competent authorities today seized quantities of weapons and munitions, some of them Israeli-made, during a storming operation to one of the terrorists’ hideouts in al-Tabiyat, Lattakia.
An official source told SANA reporter that the seized weapons included a number of rifles, 40 bombs and more than 2000 bullets of machineguns.

SANA reporter was informed by an official source in the province that the armed forces destroyed a car equipped with a heavy machinegun, killed a big number of terrorists in Harem city and injured many of the terrorists, who were taken to the Turkish territories with Turkish ambulances.

The source added that some of the killed terrorists are members of the so-called “Suqour al-Sham” terrorist group, which is linked to al-Qaeda.

Another army unit clashed with an armed terrorist group near Wadi al-Dheif in Maarat al-Numan, killing several terrorists and injuring others, while two military members were injured.

The source added that a military unit destroyed a gathering of terrorists who were blocking roads and setting barriers in Sarmin city, killing many of them and injuring others.

Units of the Armed Forces destroyed several terrorists’ hideouts in al-Mastouma area in Idleb countryside, killing and wounded scores of the terrorists.

Another military unit attacked a terrorists’ gathering in Saraqeb city, inflicting heavy losses upon its members.

Authorities Eliminate Leader of “Ahfad al-Rasoul” Terrorist Group in Quneitra

Authorities clashed with terrorists who were terrorizing citizens of Jabata al-Khashab and Tranjeh in Quneitra and inflicted heavy losses upon them.

SANA reporter was informed by a source in the province that the leader of the so-called “Ahfad al-Rasoul” terrorist group, nicknamed al-Jinani, along with many terrorists were killed in the clashes.

Army Kills al-Qaeda Linked Terrorists in Deir Ezzor

The Arned Forces clashed with two terrorist groups in Jbeila and al-Sheikh Yaseen areas in Deir Ezzor and killed scores of the terrorists.

Terrorists Ahmad al-Nahar, Hassan al-Daher, Sa’er al-Barbouri and HHammoud al-Haiji were identified among the dead.

The source added that the Armed Forces inflicted heavy losses on the terrorists in al-Khalidieh, Jouret al-Shayah and al-Sultanieh town in Homs countryside.

The source said the Armed Forces targeted a number of terrorist sites belonging to Jabhat al-Nasra and inflicted heavy losses on them.

Meanwhile, the border guard personnel foiled a terrorist infiltration attempt in Tal-Kalakh and eliminated two terrorists.

An official source at the province told SANA reporter that units of the Armed Forces carried out operations against terrorists gatherings in al-Rastan city, killing a number of terrorists and destroying a number of cars used to transform weapons and ammunitions.

Terrorists Alaa Khalaf, Mahmoud Fayad, Khalid Farzat, Iyad Saad-Eddin, Mohammad Saad-Eddin, Abdul-Ilah Razouq, Mohammad Khalid Jaddol, Alaa Abaz and Mohammad Wardeh were identified among the dead, the source added.

Another unit of the Armed Forces inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in al-Khalidieh and Jouret al-Shayah neighborhoods and in al-Sultanieh town in Homs countryside.

Terrorists Mohammad al-Nahar, the leader of an armed terrorist group and nicknamed “al-Qassem”, Mahmoud Idris, Abdullah al-Jouri, Abdul-Ilah al-Omar, Nizar al-Skeikh and Mahmoud al-Sheikh nicknamed “Abu al-Ghadban” were identified among the dead.

The source said that units of the Armed Forces also targeted a number of gatherings for al-Qaeda-linked Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists, inflecting heavy losses upon them.

The source added that the border guard forces on Monday evening foiled terrorists infiltration attempt from the Lebanese territories near Tal al-Farah site in Talkalakh.

Two terrorists were killed, among them terrorist Mohammad Abdul-Aziz Nassr Hamed of Egyptian nationality, while the others fled into the Lebanese lands.

Another unit of the Armed Forces carried out a qualitative operation against an armed terrorist group in al-Za’afaranieh town in Homs countryside, killing a number of terrorists and injuring others.
