Syria army destroys vehicles transporting arms to terrorists

The Syrian army has destroyed five vehicles transporting weapons for terrorists on the main highway between the capital, Damascus, and the northwestern city of Aleppo.

The development on Saturday comes as clashes continue between Syrian security forces and the foreign-sponsored terrorists in the western city of Homs. Several armed men have been killed in the fighting.

Meanwhile, President Bashar al-Assad said on Saturday that the success of political action in Syria “is dependent on putting pressure on the countries that finance and train the terrorists, and which bring weapons into Syria, until they stop doing so.”
